Responsibilities

Oversee the design and execution of work across multiple development teams, ensuring strategic priorities are met and workflows are efficient and scalable
Align resource allocation with development timelines and business objectives
Partner closely with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Architects, and Technical Leads to ensure delivery aligns with Agile and other SDLC methodologies
Serve as a point of contact for leadership on team capacity planning, utilization, performance, and operational needs
Ensure consistent adherence to SDLC frameworks and delivery standards
Identify and implement efficiencies across development workflows, Agile ceremonies, and cross-team collaboration
Drive process standardization to improve velocity, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall productivity
Work closely with QA and QC teams to ensure testing best practices and quality standards are consistently followed
Maintain accountability for solutions that deliver high-quality data and insights to customers and internal stakeholders
Monitor and report on team utilization, capacity, and workload distribution to support optimal resource allocation
Track and analyze development spend to ensure efficient use of resources and budget adherence
Provide leadership with regular reporting on development progress, risks, dependencies, and operational insights
Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards, plans of record, and emerging technology initiatives, supporting funding and planning discussions as needed
Act as a liaison between development teams, product management, and senior leadership to ensure smooth execution of priorities
Partner with HR and people leaders to support hiring, onboarding, and career development initiatives
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Collaborate across business units to gather requirements and drive value in a matrixed organization

Required

5+ years of experience in software development, project management, or operations
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or people-management role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and how to support teams operating within these frameworks
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Google Cloud Platform
Experience with process improvement, operational efficiency, and reporting tools
Hands-on or working knowledge of tools such as Jira, GitHub, Confluence, and Clarity
Experience leading cross-functional teams including developers and QA/QC professionals
Strong analytical skills with the ability to report on team performance, utilization, and spend
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics solutions, or cloud-based development environments
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement practices, software testing best practices, and SDLC optimization
Exposure to AI/ML-based development, MLOps, and automation initiatives
Experience evaluating and advocating for emerging technologies
