Senior PBM Audit Analyst
FTS, Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Audit Analyst to join their in-house team in collaboration with a leading client in the Financial Services Industry. This role focuses on delivering financial audit analysis and analytical reporting within the pharmacy benefit management space, supporting client evaluations and ongoing financial assessments.
Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret pharmacy and claims data to produce recurring and ad hoc financial reports, including utilization summaries, plan reviews, benchmarking analyses, and post-renewal evaluations
Assess overall plan performance and identify financial trends, risks, and cost drivers
Design, refine, and deliver client-facing audit reports, supporting data-driven renewal strategies and negotiation efforts
Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and maintain high-quality data sources and analytical tools used across audit functions
Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using spreadsheets, databases, and specialized analytical applications
Deliver education and guidance to internal teams, clients, and prospects on advanced financial topics, including benefit analytics and underwriting concepts
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address and resolve internal and client-facing issues efficiently
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in pharmacy benefit underwriting or audit functions supporting health and welfare plans
Exceptional attention to accuracy, consistency, and data integrity
Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing within a collaborative team setting
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Professional, solutions-oriented mindset
Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and deliverables end to end
Effective in dynamic, deadline-driven environments
Skilled at building productive working relationships across roles and seniority levels
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and SQL-based data environments
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as mathematics, actuarial science, computer science, or finance
