Pilson Auto Centers is seeking a Sales Consultant to sell new and used vehicles. The role involves greeting customers, determining their vehicle preferences, and guiding them through the sales process including pricing and financing options.

Responsibilities

Greets customer on sales floor and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired
Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road
Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase
Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount, and requirements for financing payment of vehicle on credit
Prepares sales slip or sales contract
Receives payment or obtains credit authorization
Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle
Researches availability of models and optional equipment using computer database
Various other duties as assigned
