Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and timely vendor payments
Review and ensure proper expense coding in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Prepare and post journal entries related to accounts payable and other assigned accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations
Maintain accurate AP aging reports and ensure liabilities are properly recorded
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
Work closely with internal departments and vendors to address questions and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting procedures
Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency
Provide guidance and support to other AP team members as needed
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
Strong understanding of general accounting principles
Experience assisting with journal entries, month-end, and year-end close
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience in high-volume or multi-entity environments
Prior audit support experience
