Accounting Manager
Vivos Holdings is seeking an Accounting Manager responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily accounting department activities to ensure a timely, accurate month end closing schedule. The role involves providing problem-solving support to accounts payable and receivable while performing a variety of accounting administration functions.

Responsibilities
Maintain the company’s accounting system in the areas of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Maintain controls to ensure assets are safeguarded and books are maintained without fraudulent entries
Supervise, mentor and develop accounting staff
Coordinate and administer year-end audit, tax package, and miscellaneous tax reporting and special audits. Review schedules prepared by others as well as prepare various schedules
Review and approve journal entries prepared by accounting staff. Prepare various journal entries for month end closing for approval by the Vice President and Controller
Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by accounting staff, including cash, fixed assets, prepaid expense accounts, accrual accounts and various other accounts. Prepare various account reconciliations for approval by the Vice President and Controller
Along with other finance staff, prepare and maintain the Excel files used for cost center budgeting. Consolidate the cost center budgets and prepare various analyses of the budget data
Complete special projects as directed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required with a BA/BS in Accounting
5+ years of related accounting experience with 2+ years of progressive management experience
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills -- both written and oral
Time management - ability to prioritize workload, manage one's own time and work independently
Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word
