Responsibilities

Supervising the work of Enterprise Architecture (EA) staff, including activities relating to project management, an IT Architecture Model and Enterprise Architecture Reference Models
Providing leadership in support of the Department of Developmental Services (Department) Information Technology Division (ITD) strategic goals and objectives
Oversight on most internal projects in support of the Department Enterprise/Technical Architecture
Design and deployment of enterprise solutions as well as provide process support for Generative AI (GenAI)
Applying a breadth and depth of technical expertise, a thorough understanding of systems integration and architecture, and diplomatic communication and negotiation skills to effectively represent the Department Enterprise Architecture strategy

Required

Providing leadership in support of the Department of Developmental Services (Department) Information Technology Division (ITD) strategic goals and objectives

Design and deployment of enterprise solutions
Provide process support for Generative AI (GenAI)
Applying a breadth and depth of technical expertise
Thorough understanding of systems integration and architecture
Diplomatic communication and negotiation skills
Lawful authorization to work in the United States
California residency at the time of appointment

Preferred

Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks and governance practices
Understanding of software and hardware lifecycle management
Familiarity with GenAI concepts, risks and governance considerations
Ability to translate complex technical concepts from non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and resolve issues
