They are seeking a Branded Products Sales Specialist to drive profitable business growth, support supplier relationships, and create value for customers through effective sales strategies and training initiatives.

Responsibilities

Drive profitable business growth by supporting branches in reaching target penetration, maximizing margin opportunities for assigned branded products in the markets where we have limited or exclusive distribution rights
Support relationships with our suppliers helping them reach their goals as well as ours
Create value by helping our customer and our customers’ customers achieve their business goals
This includes developing relationships with, and creating pull through demand with residential and commercial builders and contractors, as well as large industrial users
Drive business to/through BMD committed customers to reinforce our value and build customer loyalty
Create a training platform both online and in person platforms specifically on pull through selling for our customers and associates
Drive social media content to promote Boise Cascade and designated branded products through online connections
Develop selling tools to drive sales to Boise Cascade to include software, material lists, virtual reality, displays, website
Meet with the appropriate supplier sales stakeholders on a regular basis to illustrate/reinforce Boise Cascade investments including people, online value, training, contractor conversions
Additional Sales Leader responsibilities: create incremental supply chain value for BMD and create a higher level of loyalty from our partners
Facilitate consistent internal communication, manage internal relationships and support new initiatives with designated supplier in cooperation with the division product manager
Assist in solving product mix and supply issues
Help develop third party margin opportunities where they fit
Execute sales and marketing strategy with BMD customer base consistently by utilizing BMD sales teams and marketing support tools with division financial and strategic objectives
Recruit, train and develop personnel and oversee the branded product support group at the division level
Manages all business in compliance with antitrust and other applicable laws and regulations
Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function
Minimum of ten (10) years of industry experience with a proven track record of developing and leading a successful business unit
Multilocation prior management experience a must
Deep knowledge of industry a must
