Responsibilities
Apply comprehensive knowledge of software, electrical systems, and electronics for troubleshooting and repairs
Perform basic mechanical tasks and ensure proper system functionality
Use foundational software knowledge for equipment configuration and diagnostics
Understand principles of physics, lasers, thermodynamics, pressure systems, spatial orientation, and water systems
Handle basic plumbing and gas-related (Helium and Oxygen) tasks safely and effectively
Work with VFDs/motor controls and PLCs and safety relays for system control and automation
Manage electrical systems ranging from 3-phase 480V AC down to 5V DC
Address IP address and network connectivity issues for equipment integration
Diagnose and resolve hydraulic fluid pump issues
Maintain water purification systems, including filters and related components
Configure and troubleshoot PC hardware, Ethernet connections, and network hubs
Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills to meet service deadlines
Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance
Qualification
Required
Electrical knowledge or Electronics Engineering degree, AS or BS preferred
2–3 years of hands-on experience in the machine tool industry
Experience with CNC machines and automation
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proven analytical skills and technical judgment
Dynamic, results-driven attitude with capacity to work independently
Flexible and willing to travel 25–50% on average in the United States
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Be able to pass a drug check and background check
Preferred
Experience with lasers is a preferred
