Responsibilities
Operates and maintains equipment
Performs adjustments on machine per job instructions
Meets and exceeds production standards and maintaining customer quality requirements
Communicates job status and production concerns/issues during shift change
Follows all safety policies and procedures
Adheres to all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Troubleshoots problems with minimum delay time
Communicates with Management on any problems developing and corrective action
Works with urgency when equipment is down to maintain production requirements
Continues learning and improving processes to achieve increased production
Facilitates teamwork among team members and between shifts
Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
2 years manufacturing experience (preferred)
Able to stand for long periods, bend, and perform repetitive motions
Able to move and lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally
Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions
Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and be accountable for quality
Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Adherence to safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out and HazCom) and departmental SOPs
Preferred
2 years manufacturing experience
