The role involves designing and developing electrical circuits and subsystems while taking technical ownership and collaborating with a tight team to ensure successful integration and testing.
Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical circuits and subsystems that become core building blocks of the platform
Own schematics, drawings, and technical documentation; manage engineering changes as designs mature
Define electrical requirements and interface specifications across the system, making disciplined trade-offs across performance, reliability, and cost
Lead hardware bring-up and debugging in the lab, then carry the system through integration and test until it works end-to-end
Plan and execute verification/validation; analyze failures, drive root cause, and implement durable fixes
Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware/software, test, and manufacturing to support builds and transition designs toward production
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience taking electrical designs from requirements through release - and seeing them work in hardware
Strong hands-on bring-up/debug background using standard lab tools (oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, logic analyzer, etc.)
Experience writing test plans, running validation/verification, and performing root-cause/failure analysis
Strong cross-functional communication skills; supplier/CM experience is a plus
