Responsibilities
Support larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation
Complete research projects and other day-to-day requests
Assist in asset creation and delivers work he or she is proud of
Have a strong strategic sense and concept against a creative brief
Stay current on latest industry trends
Pay attention to the details: i.e., grammar
Maintain high quality on creative deliverables
Lean into the production of an idea to see it through to completion
Participate and helps plan community-building events
Be receptive to constructive criticism
Be proactive in finding ways to support the creative team
Find moments to mentor junior copywriters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Communications, Creative Writing or Advertising/Portfolio school
5 - 7 years writing for an advertising or marketing agency
Portfolio that demonstrates conceptual brand work
Creative writing pieces; real and spec
Strong awareness and understanding of the social/digital landscape, including online campaigns and interactive ideas/experiences
Capable of big ideas, while still being keen to creative details and eager to take on new responsibilities
