Responsibilities
Ensure Financial Integrity and Compliance: Oversee the balance sheet and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance by leading a rigorous month-end close process, proactively identifying and mitigating business risks, and fostering a strong internal control environment. Serve as a role model for integrity and continuous improvement
Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the Site Leader, managing all aspects of the distribution center’s financial operations to maximize efficiency and productivity. Develop comprehensive business cases, support strategic decision-making, and drive negotiations with key vendors in collaboration with procurement. Lead presentations to both DC employees and management and assume responsibility for plant accounting and operations management
Financial Reporting, Analysis, and Cost Management: Deliver timely and accurate operational financial reports, analyze plant performance, and provide insightful variance analysis to assess and enhance site results. Prepare and manage actuals, forecasts, and budgets throughout the year. Equip management with strategic tools and reports to drive business performance, and lead cross-functional cost reduction initiatives in partnership with engineering, procurement, and site operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA a plus
SAP, Ariba, Oracle experience a must. AS400 nice to have
5-7 Years Finance/Controllership experience; preferably with a publicly traded/large company
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and possess strong background with information technology
Must demonstrate personal drive and willingness to accept responsibility
Strong organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
Continuous improvement minded
Ability and structure to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and deliver results
Working knowledge of accounting principles
Strong analytical skills with ability to manipulate, aggregate, filter, and summarize large data sets into actionable insights
Ability to present and communicate at all levels with self-confidence
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and across business boundaries to solve issues and drive projects to completion
Ability to work independently; self-motivated; results oriented
Preferred
Inventory related experience a plus
