Responsibilities
Designing, coordinating, and implementing Client-Server solutions for business requirements
Interpreting customer feedback, designing and implementing Client solutions based on that feedback
Responding to and implementing fixes for identified bugs
Maintaining and documenting reliable comprehensive code repositories
Development testing of code releases
Coordination with QA to address findings in releases
Documenting, controlling, and reporting work progress through software management systems, remote collaboration, or person-to-person meetings
Design solutions for large sized complex problems in such a way that is simple and easy to understand by others inside and outside the department
Directly and indirectly mentor others on the team to ensure that the team and department are always moving forward

Qualification
Required
Experience with processing Commodity and Equity market data
Experience with coding data analysis strategies (Charting, graphical rendering, heat maps)
Experience with code optimization for performance
Understanding of market trading terms and concepts (Bid/Ask/Trade, depth, open interest, Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP), crossed Markets, etc)
Experience with network protocols: IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast UDP
10+ years experience with Visual C++ Object-Oriented development, including: Standard Template Library, Boost, Unit testing frameworks (Google, Boost), Refactoring
Deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript including ES2015+ and ES modules
Strong hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies and frameworks: C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or similar RDBMS platform
Thorough understanding of source control and versioning using Git
Strong hands-on experience composing OCI-compliant containers and orchestration using Docker and K8s as well as CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Terraform
Preferred
Client-Server coding
Strong enterprise-level experience with Next.js and React
Deep technical understanding of relational and non-relational databases
Deep enterprise experience deploying web solutions to AWS
Experience with multiple cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCE, and Azure
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
Able to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences and levels
Strong understanding of the direction of technological innovation and ability to bring that expertise to the company
8+ years of enterprise software application development experience
BS in computer science or a related field
