Responsibilities

Remote Programming & Troubleshooting: Provide remote configuration and programming for various security systems such as alarm panels, access control systems, and CCTV
Technical Support: Act as a first point of contact for service triage; analyze and diagnose issues, resolve minor technical problems, or escalate to appropriate teams when necessary
System Integration: Work with clients to integrate security systems with other enterprise-level platforms and networks, ensuring smooth operation
Service Coordination: Liaise with field technicians to guide on-site troubleshooting, testing, and problem resolution
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of programming changes, system configurations, service requests, and troubleshooting steps taken
Customer Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to customers regarding the status of their system, troubleshooting procedures, and system health checks
Monitoring & Maintenance: Conduct routine remote health checks of customer systems to ensure optimal performance
Software & Firmware Updates: Ensure that systems are kept up to date with the latest software and firmware patches, improving security and functionality
Ensure that systems are programmed in accordance with industry regulations and client-specific security protocols

Required

Associates Degree in a technology related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a related field such as remote technical support, networking, cyber security, or system deployment
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background, aptitude, & drug test
Knowledge of networking, IP configurations, and remote access technologies
Experience with troubleshooting tools and diagnostic software
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and network communication
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
