Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and part specifications

Inspecting machined parts and components using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges

Verifying first-article inspections against blueprint and job specifications

Operating inspection and testing equipment, including harness testers, digital height gauges, and surface testers

Documenting nonconforming parts and maintaining accurate quality records

Partnering with engineers, machinists, and cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and resolve quality issues

Helping uphold McElroy’s reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality products

Required

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings

Effective verbal communication skills
