Lead/StaffStafford Gray, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Developer who will be the technical expert and hands-on leader responsible for maintaining and enhancing the MIND system. The role involves directing development activities, coaching developers, and ensuring system architecture remains stable, secure, and scalable.

Responsibilities
Lead all development, integration and architecture work across the MIND platform
Guide developers, review technical designs, validate approach and ensure code quality
Support production troubleshooting, root cause analysis and incident resolution
Provide architectural oversight including system performance, scalability and stability
Review functional specifications and ensure technical solutions meet business needs
Oversee release deployments, patching and environment support
Conduct capacity planning, load testing preparation and system monitoring
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with required standards
Support data migrations, data quality assurance and reporting needs
Develop and maintain development best practices and documentation
Qualification
Required
Technical expertise in software development and architecture
Experience in maintaining and enhancing complex systems
Ability to direct development activities and coach developers
Proficiency in reviewing designs and solving complex technical problems
Experience in supporting production operations
Oversight of development for web and mobile applications
Guiding the design of new features
Leading troubleshooting during critical incidents
Supporting data management and integration with State systems
Enforcing coding standards and performance expectations
Maintaining strong communication across teams
Conducting capacity planning and load testing preparation
Collaborating with security teams for compliance
Supporting data migrations and data quality assurance
Developing and maintaining development best practices and documentation
