Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements for designated departments
Prepare monthly journal entries and support the monthly close process
Reconcile assigned general ledger and sub-ledger accounts
Research discrepancies and post necessary adjustments
Assist departments with operating and capital expenditure budget development
Oversee checkbook maintenance
Analyze actual vs. budget variances and line-item details
Meet regularly with department leaders to provide financial support
Assist with annual financial audit, benefits plan audits, workers’ compensation audits, and income tax return preparation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
Preferred
Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel preferred
