Field Service Representative I

Calgon Carbon Corporation, a Kuraray Company, is seeking a Field Service Representative I to join their team. This role involves implementing customer-required on-site field services related to activated carbon products and ensuring customer training and support. The representative will be responsible for scheduling, documentation, and maintenance of carbon adsorption equipment.

Responsibilities

Scheduling and documentation of daily on-site activities using FSWO database and work process
Carbon adsorption equipment start-up and customer training on proper use through O&M manual and work process
Carbon and other media removal and installation
Carbon adsorption equipment installation and removal
Carbon adsorption equipment maintenance, inspection repair and troubleshooting

Qualification

Mechanical aptitudeTroubleshootingCarbon treatment experienceConfined Space CertificationHAZWOPER CertificationCustomer trainingDocumentation skills

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Confined Space Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data) is required
Driver's License (Class A preferrable) is required
HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data) is required
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (Candidate must successfully obtain within 3 month of hire data) is required
2-3 years' mechanical aptitude and an understanding of mechanical systems; hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving/repairing technical and mechanical issues is required

Preferred

Experience in the carbon treatment industry or a related field is preferred
