Responsibilities
Understand system level software architecture and how the software is used in the mission spaces and how to decompose customer requests into stories without formal requirements guiding the process
Understand the best software development practices and the full software development lifecycle
Have leadership skills in the areas of motivating a large agile team that supports multiple products
Handle prioritization with requests coming from multiple customers and understanding of when to delegate tasks or take them on yourself to prevent distracting the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relative experience; Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of relative experience; PhD + 0 year of relative experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of relative experience; Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6+ years of relative experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Active Top Secret security clearance/SCI eligibility required at time of application
Must be able to obtain a CI Poly after starting work, preferred active CI Poly at time of application
Experience with Containerization, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Java and experience with Atlassian tool
Experience developing in Java, Javascript, helm, helmfile experience to the extent the candidate can troubleshoot issues, debug code and perform peer reviews
Understanding how to decompose customer requests into stories without formal requirements guiding the process
Experience developing/mentoring a team using Agile methodology, process, and tools
