Assist in defining new assembly standards
Create and revise work instructions for processes
Fixture design and fabrication
Data analysis
Production process troubleshooting and design
Other projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Enrolled student working towards a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering field
Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
Ability to manage multiple projects and strong planning skills
Ability to meet and communicate with employees in a one on one and group setting
Self-motivated and willing to learn
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is a must
Knowledge of measuring devise use; digital calipers, micrometers, tape measures. Ability to work in metric and standard units
Effective verbal and written skills mandatory
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required
Must be able to remain in a stationary position frequently
Must be comfortable in an industrial environment
Minimally need to move about inside office and plant designated area
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and safety shoes as required
