IT Business & Support System Specialist
Greenacres Foundation is a community-focused organization that provides diverse experiences centered on nature and education. The IT Business & Support System Specialist serves as the primary IT contact for staff, managing day-to-day support requests and collaborating with teams to enhance their use of technology.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support requests
Triage, resolve, or escalate tickets as appropriate
Provide hands-on support for meetings and events (projectors, displays, conferencing, cables, etc.)
Assist with workstation setup, device moves, and basic hardware troubleshooting
Meet with teams to understand workflows, challenges, and goals
Recommend practical ways existing systems and software can better support their work
Act as a liaison between staff and IT systems leadership
Help translate business needs into clear technical requirements
Assist with software implementations and system changes
Train users on tools, workflows, and best practices
Create and maintain user-friendly documentation and quick-start guides
Support change adoption by ensuring users are confident and supported
Collaborate closely with the IT Systems Support Administrator on issue resolution and system improvements
Escalate complex technical issues while maintaining ownership of communication and follow-through
Assist with testing, rollout coordination, and user communication for system updates
Provide user feedback and frontline insights to inform technical decisions
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in IT support, service desk, or end-user systems support
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests
Comfortable working across both technical and non-technical environments
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds
Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may
Experience in a client-facing or internal consulting role
Familiarity with modern workplace tools (M365, Asana, Teams, etc.)
Experience supporting A/V or meeting technology
Interest in improving how technology supports business operations
Ability and willingness to travel to all Greenacres locations is required (these currently include, Indian Hill, OH, Miami Township Clermont Co, OH, Felicity, OH and Oldenberg, IN)
Ability to successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test, physical and fingerprint FBI background screen
Ability to internalize and reflect our values
