Responsibilities
Administer and oversee departmental objectives, priorities, and performance measures
Develop and monitor departmental budgets
Lead and manage staff, including supervisors, through hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and corrective actions
Maintain an organized, efficient department that supports accuracy, productivity, and effective information flow
Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and organizational philosophy
Direct daily department activities, communicate clearly, and encourage staff engagement
Manage IS functions across HIM, Admissions, Patient Financial Services, MM Finance, HR, and Benefits
Oversee application support, including installations, upgrades, testing, debugging, and report development
Provide solutions for software limitations and coordinate strategic system downtime
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership qualities with strong decision-making abilities
Minimum 3 years of management experience in a healthcare or technology-related environment
Bachelor's degree in technology or healthcare-related field
Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
Preferred
Project Management certification (PDMP)
