Responsibilities
Manage and coach a team of corporate portfolio professionals, ensuring adherence to advanced credit policies and servicing standards
Resolve escalated servicing and credit issues, including those involving complex structures and high-profile clients
Review team performance, pipeline trends, and portfolio metrics to ensure alignment with strategic goals
Support employee development through targeted training and constructive feedback
Participate in business line projects and process improvements, contributing expertise in corporate credit
Ensure timely completion of renewals, reviews, and servicing requirements for large, multifaceted credit relationships
Coordinate with Relationship Managers on new loan opportunities and portfolio expansion
Monitor compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, maintaining rigorous standards
Support system enhancements and reporting needs for the corporate portfolio
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on excellence and innovation
Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
6+ years of experience in commercial or corporate lending or portfolio management
Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability
Strong credit analysis and risk management skills, with experience in complex credit structures
Experience with loan systems and reporting tools
Strong understanding of credit policy and risk governance
Track record of process improvement and team development
Preferred
advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) strongly preferred
