Controls Engineer - Indiana
Gpac is partnering with a confidential manufacturer in Northern Indiana to identify a Controls Engineer. This role will support plant automation, instrumentation, and control systems while contributing to capital projects, system upgrades, and ongoing manufacturing support.

Responsibilities
Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI control systems
Design and engineer controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems
Support plant-wide software initiatives and automation rollouts
Assist with selection, procurement, and installation of control systems and instrumentation
Troubleshoot operational and automation-related issues on manufacturing and utility systems
Interface with vendors, contractors, and project teams
Perform and document technical design reviews
Support training of plant personnel on new and upgraded systems
Manage and support projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial control systems
Ability to read electrical and control schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with physical demands
Preferred
Bachelor's or Technical degree
