The Director of Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the engineering department, ensuring the successful development and implementation of innovative technical solutions while overseeing a team of engineers.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement White Lodging's long-term strategy for the engineering department, aligning it with overall company goals and objectives
Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their professional growth
Ensure the technical excellence and quality of engineering projects, providing technical expertise and problem-solving as needed
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard
Manage the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to support the engineering department's goals
Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping, Front Desk, F&B, and Sales to ensure effective communication and coordination of engineering efforts
Qualification
Required
Engineering management in hospitality preferred
Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams
Strong project management skills
Excellent organization and communication skills
Any required licenses or certifications (HVACR, EPA, Certified Pool Operator, etc.)
Preferred
Familiarity with union labor contract preferred (if relevant)
