External Wholesaler - Mid-Atlantic
Potomac is a boutique tactical asset manager headquartered in Bethesda, MD, seeking an External Wholesaler to support and grow their tactical investment strategies and mutual fund business with financial advisors. The role involves representing Potomac's products, managing territory sales goals, and building relationships with business partners within the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Responsibilities
Represent Potomac and distribute all Potomac products and services within the assigned territory
Travel within the territory to conduct 1:1 and group face to face meetings and presentations
Partner with an internal wholesaler to develop a business plan and manage the territory to meet and exceed regional sales goals and objectives
Identify advisor needs through a consultative sales process and provide tailored investment solutions
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners (e.g., marketing, senior leaders, field leaders)
Manage administrative responsibilities according to company policies including travel and expenses, CRM updates, calendar and schedules, conference call participation, email retention, continuing education, and other requirements
Qualification
Required
Must have: SIE, Series 7, and either 63 & 65 or 66
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an external wholesaler selling mutual funds, SMAs ETFs or VAs, or 3 years of experience as top internal wholesaler with existing relationships in the assigned territory
Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations
Self-driven and resourceful able to manage territory budget and operate autonomously
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
