Responsibilities
Provide leadership and mentorship to the packaging team while overseeing daily production operations
Monitor production schedules, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement process improvements
Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records, report key metrics to management
Partner with management on human capital initiatives including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, QMS standards, ISO 9001 requirements, and security protocols
Support continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing practices, and cost reduction efforts
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
4+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, packaging, or printing operations
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MIS, and intranet systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred
Knowledge of ISO, OSHA, 5S, and continuous improvement practices preferred
