Responsibilities
Oversee all lab operations, sample analysis, and reporting
Maintain certification and compliance with federal/state regulations, as required
Train, evaluate, and schedule lab staff
Manage budget, equipment and supplies, including proper calibration of equipment
Offer assistance and education on lab services / water quality to additional Jones Lake Management staff
Interface with regulatory agencies, public works teams, and external partners
Assist with systems development and service pricing
Keep accurate records
Upsell lab services, as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, microbiology, environmental science, or similar
3–7+ years lab experience, including supervisory responsibilities
Knowledge of drinking water/wastewater regulations and analytical techniques
Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs
Bend at waist and/or knees and lift arms at/over shoulder
Ability to work extended hours, as needed
Must be able to report to Miamisburg, OH lab during working hours
