CapEx Coordinator

Oldcastle Building Envelope is a company that contributes architectural glass and building products to various projects. The CapEx Coordinator will develop and implement capital projects, ensuring alignment with engineering standards while supporting the Engineering and Operations Team.

Responsibilities

Help prepare business cases, project requests, and cost justifications for capital projects
Coordinate project schedules, tasks, and documentation
Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and project spending
Communicate with vendors to collect quotes, manage timelines, and support project activities
Organize site visits, installations, and equipment startup
Keep project trackers and reports updated for leadership
Ensure all project files, safety requirements, and compliance documentation are complete
Support continuous improvement and help streamline project processes

Qualification

Microsoft ExcelAllen Bradley PLCProject ManagementLean ManufacturingSix SigmaCommunication SkillsOrganizational SkillsProblem Solving

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting capital projects or coordinating technical projects
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Comfortable working with technical documents, equipment info, and project files
Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work with cross‑functional teams
Interest in process improvement; Lean or Six Sigma exposure
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming & troubleshooting
Strong computer skills including AutoCAD and MS Office
Ability to read and develop controls, wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams

Preferred

Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts (certification desirable)
