They are seeking an Activities Coordinator/Assistant to coordinate and assist in the development and oversight of resident activities, plan and conduct programs, and manage community events.

Responsibilities
Coordinate & assist in the development and oversight of resident activities as the Assistant to the Director of Celebrations
Plan, schedule and conduct programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for our residents in our community
Attend ALL community planned functions and coordinate the event from beginning to end including set-up, running, and breaking down for the event
Assist in preparing and organizing a calendar of events
Must be willing to work flexible hours (Evenings and Saturdays) for planned activity events
Qualification
Required
Experience with event planning & coordination
Proficient verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to communicate with, encourage, and motivate Senior adults
Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Demonstrated artistic & creative abilities
Strong skills in organization, delegation and consensus building
Preferred
Associate's Degree in social work, recreation, sociology or related field
One to three years experience working in Senior Living
Experience using Senior Activity Mobile Apps, such as: UniGuest, LifeLoop or other
CDL-B (P) Drivers License
