The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for building the company's big data pipeline, data reporting, and optimizing data systems using various technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and build our data pipeline using Amazon Web Services technologies (AWS EMR, EKS, Data Pipeline, Athena, ClickHouse, Spark, Scala, and Python)
Assemble, combine and transform large multiple complex data sets
Build analytics tools using the data pipeline to provide actionable insights to end users
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Required

Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, data sets and tools (Hadoop, Spark, Presto, etc.)
Experience using columnar data-stores (Parquet, Athena, Presto, Snowflake)
Strong knowledge and experience working with AWS eco-system and AWS technologies (S3, Athena, EMR, EKS, EC2, IAM, etc.)
Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
Skill for writing reusable code
