Responsibilities
For assigned work packages produce engineering design deliverables (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality
Deliver a safe, fit-for-purpose, fully integrated and operable design solution that meets product requirements
Produce design deliverables that provide a fit-for-purpose integrated solution which meets specified requirements, including validation and verification, and that preserve the design intent and align with the plant configuration, as appropriate
Ensure the design solution is able to be manufactured, constructed, commissioned, handed over, put into operation, maintained and decommissioned
Qualification
Required
Experience in the use of Auto desk inventor
Experience in the use of Auto desk vault Basis or Vault Pro (file management)
Familiar with GPS ISO (BS 8888)
Experience in providing support to resolution of manufacturing, inspection, and test Technical Queries/production permits/concessions
Experience in managing and directing designers in delivery of mechanical plant and equipment drgs and documents
Experience and working knowledge of plant layout, set up, installation and alignment of plant and equipment and machinery for works test, integrated test, and site installation
Experience in writing & checking works test requirement documentation and Integrated works test documents for Plant, Equipment, and machinery
Capacity to support office based working arrangement for of up to 5 days per week based in Birchwood, Warrington
Visits to supplier's premises may be required in support of manufacture/test and issue resolution (including occasional overseas travel in some instances)
BPSS clearance will be required at basic level
