Responsibilities
Own compliance programs from start to finish across food contact safety, electrical safety (UL), and international standards
Manage audits from various agencies
Interface cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
Develop new compliance programs not currently in place
Handle regulatory documentation critical parts lists, compliance submissions, and agency review processes
Navigate emerging regulations (PFAS, RoHS, Reach, California Prop 65)
Advocate with regulatory agencies and explain standards to internal teams
Qualification
Required
Engineering Degree required
Several years of compliance experience
Practical experience with UL, NSF, or CE certifications
Self-starter mentality and able to dive into technical standards independently
Strong communication skills to explain complex regulations to cross-functional teams and advocate with agencies
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred
