1+ years expAerotek is a family-owned underground utilities contractor that values skill and reliability. They are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate excavators and loaders for utility pipe installation and perform daily inspections and maintenance on the equipment.

Responsibilities
Operate JD 470 excavators and 624 loaders for trenching, excavation, backfill, and utility pipe installation (water/sewer/storm)
Read plans and dig to line & grade without GPS assistance
Perform daily inspections and basic equipment maintenance
Load trucks, manage spoils, and maintain clean, organized job sites
Follow trench safety, traffic control procedures, and OSHA standards
Support the crew with additional tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
1+ years operating excavators/loaders for commercial underground utility installation
Strong plan-reading and grade-setting skills
Ability to finish and grade dirt accurately
Comfort operating without GPS guidance
Safety-first mindset with solid OSHA and trenching knowledge
Dependable transportation and willingness to work overtime
