Responsibilities
Assure optimal quality examination and intervention while maintaining the highest level of patient care and safety
Accountable for supervision of the room staff's performance, coordination of the room's schedule and communicating with the Cath Lab management team to ensure efficient utilization of resources
Performs duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures
Demonstrates an understanding of all invasive procedures, the equipment and supplies for each procedure and indications for performing each procedure
Participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a Clinical Leader
Must be available to be scheduled for a minimum of 3 shifts every week and available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other weekend
Must be available to be scheduled for two major holidays per policy

Qualification
Required
Associates Degree, Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular technology program
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCIS
BLS
ACLS
Five (5) years clinical experience in a hospital setting
Effective Communication
Knowledge of the principles and skills of the cath lab processes to provide patient care and treatment
Critical thinking skills
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Basic Computer skills
