Studio Bloom is a full-service interior design studio based in Menlo Park. They are seeking a highly creative and self-motivated Junior Interior Designer to support the design and implementation of high-end residential projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

Support the design and implementation of high-end residential projects from concept through completion
Develop detailed technical drawings and models using AutoCAD and SketchUp
Contribute to the development of design concepts, including furniture and finish selections, custom furniture development, and sourcing materials such as finishes, plumbing fixtures, and decorative hardware
Support the preparation of client-facing materials, including drawings, mood boards, material flat lays, and visual presentations
Assist Senior Designers with project scopes, including prioritization, budget oversight, timelines, and scheduling
Maintain clear and effective internal communication and provide regular project updates
Collaborate and coordinate with vendors, architects, general contractors, builders, and tradespeople to ensure all design elements are executed seamlessly and according to plan

Required

High end residential interior design experience in the US is required to apply
We are accepting applications for junior level Interior designers with 2-3 years experience
This position is based in Menlo Park, CA. Candidates must be able to commute or relocate to the area
Applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not offered
The ability to work both in-office and travel to project site meetings is required
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
2-3 years of residential interior design experience
A portfolio that showcases both your technical skills and your creative vision
Proficiency with a Mac, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), Studio, Canva and Google Workspace

Preferred

Strong knowledge in material sourcing, specifications, custom furnishings, construction and renovations preferred
