Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, printers, and basic networking issues
Respond to and manage help desk tickets, troubleshooting issues and escalating when appropriate
Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and maintenance
Support user account setup, access control, and system permissions
Communicate effectively with users to diagnose issues and provide timely resolutions
Assist with basic network and server maintenance under the direction of senior IT staff
Learn and support database administration tasks, including backups, user access, and data integrity
Gain hands-on experience with systems administration activities such as server monitoring and routine maintenance
Support remote access tools and endpoint management as needed
Document IT support procedures, common issues, and troubleshooting steps
Collaborate with IT leadership to develop technical skills and prepare for increased responsibilities
Support process improvements that enhance system reliability and user experience
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Experience with Windows and/or macOS operating systems
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities over time
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and move as needed to install or troubleshoot equipment
Ability to lift, move, or position IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
Valid driver's license required
Preferred
Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop tools preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Prior experience in IT support or customer service is a plus but not required
