Performing senior level accountant management reporting and financial tasks for Dignity Health entities migrated to Lawson
Providing value to internal and external customers
Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of the general ledger policies and procedures
General ledger journal entries
Account reconciliation
Account analyses
Financial reporting
Seeking to understand and act upon customer needs, concerns, and priorities
Meeting customer expectations and requirements
Gaining customer trust and respect
Working with the General Accounting Manager to receive feedback on performance
Creating and managing a personal developmental plan
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required
Six plus years experience accounting experience
Experience with and knowledge of current general ledger applications in a healthcare environment, or Lawson experience required
Self directed and requires minimal supervision
Leadership skills/some supervisory experience required
Able to handle a broad scope of responsibility, utilizing independent problem solving skills
Preferred
Post graduate degree, CPA or hospital operations experience strongly preferred
Experience with providing visible sponsorship and guidance of major change initiatives preferred
