Responsibilities

Set up and operate slitter/rewinder equipment to convert rolls to customer specs (width, diameter, core, footage)
Interpret work orders/spec sheets; verify materials, tooling, and lot numbers before each run
Perform in‑process quality checks (edge quality, core alignment, roll hardness, label accuracy) and record results
Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, rulers, scales) to verify dimensions and weights
Complete machine changeovers efficiently (knives/blades, spacers, cores) and minimize scrap
Palletize, tag, and stage finished goods; update ERP/production logs accurately
Execute basic troubleshooting, housekeeping (5S), and routine preventative maintenance
Follow all safety procedures including LOTO and PPE requirements

Required

1+ year as a slitter/rewinder, converting, press, or machine operator (metals, paper/film/foil, labels, or similar)
Comfortable with tape measures, calipers, and reading specs/prints
Strong attention to detail, steady pace, and reliable attendance on nights
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8–10 hour shifts

Preferred

forklift experience
basic mechanical aptitude
prior GMP/ISO environment
