Family Law Attorney
Growth Solutions Team is an established law firm in the Baltimore area launching a new Family Law practice. They are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to manage family law matters from intake through resolution while contributing to the growth of the practice.
Responsibilities
Handle a full range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, property division, and post-judgment issues
Conduct client intakes and consultations with a demonstrated ability to convert leads into retained clients
Provide clear, compassionate, and strategic legal counsel to clients during emotionally complex matters
Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials
Collaborate with firm leadership on the development and growth of the family law practice
Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and compliance with firm procedures
Build strong client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
Manage and mentor staff
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years of direct family law experience
Active Maryland Bar license in good standing
Proven success in intake, consultations, and lead conversion
Strong knowledge of Maryland family law statutes and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to team goals
High level of professionalism, empathy, and client-service orientation
Preferred
10 years of direct family law experience
Experience helping launch or grow a practice area
Comfort working with intake systems, CRMs, or client tracking tools
Mediation or collaborative law experience
Demonstrated business development success
