Responsibilities
Oversee the dispatch team and ensure efficient daily scheduling
Assign service calls based on technician availability, skills, and location
Monitor real-time job progress and customer updates
Maintain dispatch dashboards and track KPIs (response times, utilization, etc.)
Communicate clearly with both technicians and customers
Resolve scheduling conflicts and minimize downtime
Support process improvements to increase team productivity
Train and mentor dispatch coordinators on systems and service protocols
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in service dispatch, scheduling, or customer coordination (plumbing preferred)
Previous team lead or supervisory experience a plus
Familiar with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro)
Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
Calm and effective under pressure with a customer-first mindset
