Responsibilities
Participate in semi-complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials; expedite as needed and serve as liaison between vendors and users, obtaining prior approval for purchases exceeding established limits
Resolve semi-complex delivery, quality, or other related issues with purchases and invoices
Support updating project plans and purchasing systems; review and analyze requisitions and supply plans for domestic and international purchases
Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and quality requirements; prepare requests for quotes (RFQs) and help develop new supply sources; evaluate market conditions
Solicit cost reduction ideas from suppliers and follow up to implement savings for the company
Qualification
