Responsibilities

Provide coaching, support, training and direction to a team of Maintenance Technicians
Exemplifies the Amcor Values and Behaviors at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Amcor inside and outside of the plant
Act as the point of contact for plant personnel for day to day maintenance issues
Verify PMs are being completed properly
Conduct shift turnover communication, to Group Lead and other Team Leads
Maintain maintenance work area and tools in clean orderly manner
Complete preventative maintenance checks and use computer software to enter, update, and close work orders
Order replacement parts and equipment as needed
Complete various paperwork including front line leader daily checklists in Group Lead’s absence
Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and accessory support equipment and direct the team in making repairs
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair
Verification of cleaning machine and surrounding area after repairs
Familiar with replacing belts, pulleys, cables, chains, bearings, gears and related equipment
Repairs, and rebuilds plant machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot problem machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
Understanding of the functionality of relays, motor contactors, motor starters, solid state relays, soft starts and variable frequency drives
Familiarity with operation and troubleshooting of PLCs
Read, interpret, and trouble shoot using schematic diagrams
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
