Responsibilities
Leads platform engineering collateral in support of business design win opportunities
Delivers collateral and support required for customer development of AMD platforms (design-in)
Owns customer-coordinated execution plans optimizing path from bring-up to launch
Drives debug, root cause, and resolution for customer sightings in partnership with validation
Single voice communication for all critical customer impactful issues involving potential recalls
Works closely with marketing on prioritizing customer requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Best-in-class verbal and written communications skills are vital - this job requires continuous executive communication both internally and externally
Candidate must be able to effectively tailor messages from hand-on engineer in the midst of debug to C-suite business executive and will be expected to be proactive in all forms of communication
The leader must drive rigor in documentation of all agreements no matter how informal through tracking of actions, clear meeting minutes, comprehensive trip reports, etc
Tolerance for ambiguity is necessary - there will be many times when we do not have as clear of direction as we would prefer from our customers, but at all times leader must come across as transparent and working actively to move the customer objectives forward
