Responsibilities
Developing features and driving performance for the internal frameworks and subsystems that enable action running on Apple platforms
Managing a small team of one or two engineers while actively contributing code and providing technical leadership
Breaking down interesting technical challenges and creating robust, performant solutions
Working across teams and organizations, building relationships and crafting compelling system features
Finishing projects with a keen eye to the details that surprise and delight customers
Guiding existing products and anticipating issues before they arrive
Leading development of essential technologies in early stages
Maintaining existing code, fixing bugs, and contributing to overall system design
Qualification
Required
B.S in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience building software and applications in Objective-C or Swift
Familiarity with essential tools (Xcode, lldb, Instruments)
Attention to detail and focus on quality
Skilled at communicating, whether verbally or in writing
Preferred
Experience leading a team in a formal or informal capacity
Experience working with SQL, query optimization, distributed systems, and optimizing software for performance-critical environments
Experience building APIs for internal or external clients
