Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications
Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and customer needs
Utilize CAD software to view and analyze detailed product designs and engineering drawings
Understand simulations and stress tests to evaluate product durability
Implement improvements based on testing results and feedback
Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met
Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the development process
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in product development or similar role; other levels of experience may be considered
Plastic injection molding engineering experience
Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software such as NX, CATIA, Visualization, or similar
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Preferred
Project Management skills
Experience with prototype development and testing
Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience with Exterior Decorative Automotive Body Parts
Experience with Nissan development processes/systems
Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
Previous plant experience is a plus
