Responsibilities
Work independently with direction from engineers to test units and materials in support of their project work
Prepare samples for testing using saws and other shop equipment
Record and organize test results for engineers to review
Applies CAD expertise and knowledge in the creation and delivery of product drawings for use by manufacturing, vendors, delivery partners and end use customers
Work effectively as a team member and manage multiple priorities
Communicate progress on assigned work to achieve required timelines
Maintain an organized and clean work environment
Follow required safety and environmental procedures
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to work with hand and power tools
Proficient 3D solid modeling CAD skills with design fundamentals
Excellent attention to detail
Strong aptitude in analysis and problem solving
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong computer skills (Basic Microsoft office skills, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work flexible hours if experiments need to be run during an off shift
Preferred
2-year degree in Technology or equivalent experience
Ability to analyze data and assist with written documentation
Basic knowledge of door products
Ability to operate a fork truck or other power industrial truck
