Responsibilities
Support NYSERDA’s Finance team with day-to-day, quarterly, and annual accounting and budgeting activities
Focus on budget setup, grant and fund-based accounting, financial reporting, and system infrastructure support within NEIS
Assist with journal entries, general and subsidiary ledger reconciliations, and multi-year financial planning based on historical data
Qualification
Required
3+ years Financial/Budget Analyst or Accounting experience
Strong finance & accounting knowledge
Advanced Excel (Pivots, VLOOKUP) and O365
GL & subsidiary ledger reconciliations
Journal entries and close processes
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Preferred
Government grant management experience
Fund-based accounting
PeopleSoft / Oracle / NEIS experience
Public-sector or state agency background
