Responsibilities

Conduct electrical and optical tests on prototype hardware using automated fixtures
Adhere to safe hardware handling protocols, focusing on ESD mitigation
Follow detailed procedure documents and participate in process retraining as needed
Utilize basic software tools to monitor line flow and part status
Assist with basic triage of failures, collaborating with engineering for troubleshooting
Support the movement and reconfiguration of hardware for R&D purposes
Maintain organization and inventory of prototype hardware
Assist in test equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly

Required

AS in Electronics/Electronic Technology or equivalent experience
Experience with electrical and optical testing on prototype hardware
Knowledge of ESD safety procedures
Proven ability to follow detailed procedure documents and process flows
Basic understanding of software tools for tracking line flow

Preferred

Experience with fiber handling techniques
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work in a flexible team environment
Organizational skills with attention to detail
