Responsibilities
Contact residential and commercial customers via phone, email, and mail regarding outstanding balances
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, service disputes, or billing errors specific to waste services
Collaborate with customer service, dispatch, and sales teams to resolve service-related issues impacting payment
Maintain accurate notes and records of all customer interactions and collection efforts in CRM or billing system
Qualification
Required
2+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience, preferably in the waste management or utility sector
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle challenging customer conversations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collection tracking systems
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet monthly collection goals
